Izven časa / Jenseits der Zeit (Beyond Time) is a bilingual poetry anthology published in 2020 by Beletrina, bringing together the work of eight prominent contemporary Slovenian and German poets. The primary design challenge was to visually capture the philosophical, ethereal, and timeless essence of poetry that transcends linguistic and geographical boundaries, operating in realms beyond linear time.
The visual concept draws direct inspiration from the book's title, interpreting it through the lens of physics and cosmological phenomena. Moving away from traditional, static literary imagery, the cover relies on dynamic vector lines that symbolize movement through cosmic voids, the bending of space, and pathways through wormholes where time ceases to exist.
