In 2011, Lukatarina studio (Luka Mancini and Katarina Mrvar) participated in the second edition of the international Poster Festival Ljubljana, organized by the Brumen Foundation. Under the central theme "The Faces of Racism Revealed," we created a series of four posters aimed at raising awareness about prejudice, xenophobia, and social intolerance.
Each poster in the series addresses a different aspect of intolerance, using a simple, powerful visual language and direct symbols. A standout piece in the collection is the Indian (Indijanec) poster, with Katarina Mrvar serving as the lead designer; her clean illustration highlights the issues of stereotypes and the appropriation of indigenous cultures. Through the medium of poster art, the entire project encourages reflection and opens up a dialogue on important social issues.
