The geometric and circular calendar project was initiated under the former Poligon coworking space, which organized the Creators' Calendar Fair. Developed specifically for this event, this custom version of a circular calendar has gained a circle of loyal clients over the years. While it is not the only circular calendar available, it offers one of the most refined and functional interpretations, allowing users to clearly track both routine and exceptional daily activities. The design is based on the concept that all days of the year function as segments within a single circle, which by the end of the year creates a comprehensive infographic—a visual map of an individual's activities.
The project offers several variations tailored to different user preferences. The color version features a single entry field per day and is designed for those who simply want a beautiful, colorful piece on their wall without the intention of actively filling out the calendar. The black-and-white, blank template acts as an interactive tool where users define color codes in the legend for various activities—such as sports, travel, or work—and generate a unique annual pie chart of their habits by coloring in at least seven available fields. In the monthly circular version, each month is presented as an independent circle, making it easy to compare activities across different periods of the year. Finally, the linear version features days arranged sequentially one under the other, providing eight fields per day to track up to eight distinct activities.
Following years of butique print editions, the project is now looking toward the future. The concept of circular and geometric time-tracking holds significant potential for transformation into interactive applications or user interfaces. The current objective of the project is therefore to find a technological partner to successfully translate this analog data visualization experience into the digital world.
