Design of the main poster and accompanying printed materials for World Philosophy Day 2010, which focused on the main theme "Reality of Fiction." The project was created as a visual response to the philosophical questioning of the boundaries between what we perceive as objective reality in modern society and what is merely a construction or social fiction.
The central visual motif of the poster shows a flock of sheep tightly framed and confined by the giant, dominant word REALITY. The composition works as a direct metaphor and critique of modern society: the sheep symbolize individuals who uncritically and blindly follow forced social narratives. Even though these narratives are often presented as absolute facts, they are actually just political or media propaganda and fiction. With a strong typographic frame that literally molds the flock, the poster clearly shows how easily human behavior can be controlled within a constructed "reality," while encouraging the viewer to think critically.
