The collection Logos 2003–2012 offers a retrospective look at early branding projects designed for a wide range of clients spanning from an elementary school logo (my first logo ever) to solutions that achieved international recognition and won industry awards.
Key highlights of the collection include:
Visual Identity for the 25th International Biennial of Graphic Arts (2003): Designed during my student years, this comprehensive identity project won the Golden Award at the prestigious Input/Output international student design competition in Bremen, Germany.
Taekwon-do Club Tiger Logo (2002): My second logo project ever, designed while still a student. It won first prize in the logo category (Golden Bra Award) and was named second runner-up overall across all categories at the international Magdalena festival in Maribor.
Loža številka 5 (Lodge No. 5) Band Logo: This specific mark was discovered in a logo design book by the world-renowned Japanese clothing retailer UNIQLO. They selected the design to be featured globally on one of their women t-shirts.
Co-authored Projects with Katarina Mrvar: The showcase also features collaborative designs created alongside co-author Katarina Mrvar under Lukatarina Studio, including logos for Nega glasu, Simt, Presoja, and Super sok.
The featured logos are highly diverse in style. Rather than forcing a singular signature aesthetic, the guiding principle behind every design has always been to discover the perfect conceptual motivation and style needed to capture and convey the true essence of each client.
