Designing T-shirts for the Val 202 radio station is always a deeply engaging and creative challenge. Over the years, I have created several editions for them, with the "Val 202 – več kot radio" (More than a Radio) motif becoming arguably the most popular. Having previously designed the station's official corporate logo, I returned to its foundational visual identity for the first two T-shirt iterations, centering the design concept around Val 202’s highly recognizable striped emblem.
Alongside the general radio-themed designs, the collection introduces specific visual interpretations for individual shows on the station. One of the pieces is the T-shirt for the cycling show Tour 202, which references the major achievements of Slovenian cyclists, notably Tadej Pogačar and Primož Roglič.
The shirt for the science show Frekvenca X features a detailed composition of elements from various scientific disciplines, spanning from microscopic bacteria to human evolution and the T-shirt for the electronic music show RH 202 is designed as a dense, retro-trashy tapestry of motifs, mirroring the energy of the electronic music scene.
